Philip Shackelford, PhD, offers a new perspective on program development for county extension agents. With over 20 years of experience planning and implementing agriculture programs, Shackelford understands key techniques for successful and effective program development. Shackelford’s passion for agriculture developed during his teen years. His county extension agent and agricultural teachers from high school influenced Shackelford’s decision to pursue a career in agriculture.
