ANRP Interns Gain Real-World Experience in Washington, D.C. and Austin, Texas

By: Patricia Ward Every semester the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences sends a group of students to participate in the Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy semester-long internship in Washington, D.C., Austin, Texas and Rome, Italy. This semester the ALEC Department has five students participating in the internship. The ANRP internship is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Provides Hands-On Experiences to ALEC Students

Now, the Show provides hundreds internships to students at Texas A&M University each year. Students Gain New Experiences While Studying Abroad in Greece

By: Patricia Ward For many college students summers are filled with internships, summer jobs and sleeping-in, but for a group of ALEC students and faculty, summer was spent diving deep into the rich culture and history of Greece. While earning credit for ALED 340, 485 and 685, 22 students developed their personal leadership, learned about the evolution of leadership and Greek agriculture.
