ALEC Faculty Attend AAAE Conference

Several ALEC faculty members attended the American Association for Agricultural Education’s 2015 national conference in San Antonio, Texas. Taya Brown chosen to participate in AIARD’s Future Leaders Forum

AAAE Meets in Kona, Hawaii for Western Conference

The Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications Department were represented by faculty and students. Associate Professor Lori Moore, Ph.D., was elected to an eight-year term of service as an officer of the Western Region of AAAE. She begins her service as Secretary. By: Meagan Brown Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications Department faculty and staff were acknowledged at the annual American Association for Agricultural Education conference in Salt Lake City, Utah this May. ALEC Department Head, Jack Elliot, Ph.D., received the Outstanding Agricultural Educator Award for his exceptional career as an educator. Associate Head for Graduate Programs, Tim Murphy, Ph.D. was recognized for serving as AAAE president for the 2013-2014 year. The VATAT Conference is an excellent way for agriculture teachers to learn about new products and share innovative education and real-world practices. Faculty Receive Awards at NACTA Conference
