TALL Welcomes New Cohort

By: Meagan Brown The Texas Agricultural Lifetime Leadership recently finished its 13th cohort and welcomed the 14th class in June 2014. Housed in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications, TALL is a competitive leadership development program for those who are involved in Texas agriculture industry. The program involves a two-year curriculum in which the class members will develop their leadership skills and expand their knowledge of the current issues in agriculture. TALL Ventures to East Texas

TALL Program Experiences California Agriculture

Mazurkiewicz Visits Poland, Sparks Cross-Cultural Collaboration

On Sept. 24. Mazurkiewicz was recognized for his contributions when he was awarded the Polish Medal of Honor from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region. Mazurkiewicz named Regent Fellow

Leadership Program Director Jim Mazurkiewicz, Ph.D. was recognized as a Regents Fellow for 2011-12. This distinction comes from the Texas A&M System Board of Regents who recognized only 18 professors and fellows throughout the entire Texas A&M System this year. Click here to learn more.

Mock Press Conference Trains TALL Members and ALEC Students for Real-World Scenarios

ALEC family adds three members

Young Institute of County Government, Texas Agricultural Lifetime Leadership and San Antonio Livestock Exposition-Leadership Extension into the department on April 1, 2012. The V.G. Young Institute was created in 1969 to provide county officials with educational programs.
